PEBBLE CREEK INDIGO 8

QUARTERLY NEWSLETTER

FROM THE PRESIDENT’S CORNER

As I ride my bicycle through the neighborhood, I can see the efforts many homeowners have made to update and maintain their homes and yards. For a community approaching 40 years old, we are doing a great job preserving the appearance and value of our neighborhood. Some residents maintain their properties so beautifully that they could be featured in Better Homes & Gardens.

Recently, the Board approved a plan to reduce the height of bushes to six feet so that our landscaping company can properly maintain and trim them. The harsh winter temperatures also damaged some bushes and palm trees that will not recover. These plants will need to be removed and replaced by the homeowner.

A few days ago, our management company conducted an inspection of the neighborhood and noted several maintenance issues, including improperly stored garbage cans and roofs that need cleaning due to mold and fungus buildup. Notices will be sent to affected homeowners. My roof was one of those identified. I recently had it cleaned and am very glad I did. It now looks almost brand new, even though it is eight years old. Regular cleaning also helps extend the life of the roof.

With replacement roofs costing upwards of $20,000, I want to keep mine looking good and functioning well for as long as possible. Thank you all for your efforts in maintaining your homes and helping preserve property values throughout our community.

LAWN MAINTENANCE

Per the HOA Governing Documents, bushes exceeding six feet in height have been trimmed. Lawns have also been fertilized.

If you have any questions or concerns regarding landscaping, please contact our property management company, TOUT, via email at [email protected].

WELCOME NEW HOMEOWNERS

The HOA Board would like to welcome our newest homeowners:

  • Roxanne and Mike – 205 Glenbriar
  • Sally and George – 212 Glenbriar

Please help us make them feel welcome in our community.

SUMMER IS HERE

I complained about the cold, and now I’m complaining about the heat! Is there no such thing as perfect weather?

After traveling to all 50 states, I can honestly say that, in my opinion, Hawaii has the most pleasant year-round climate — not too hot, not too cold, just right. Plus, there are very few bugs and no snakes.

Of course, there is one drawback: the cost of living. Since many goods must be shipped to the islands, expenses can be quite high. Oh well—that’s life, and I feel truly blessed.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY AND ANNIVERSARY

Birthdays and anniversaries are special occasions because they come only once each year and give us an opportunity to celebrate life’s blessings.

When your special day arrives, may all your wishes come true.

For those celebrating anniversaries, may you remember the love you shared on your wedding day and continue to grow closer with each passing year.

Best wishes to everyone celebrating this season!

HAPPY FATHER’S DAY

We hope all the fathers in our community enjoy a wonderful Father’s Day with family and friends.
